SVADHYAYA – MEDITATION AND SELF-STUDY COURSE
January 9 @ 1:30 pm - January 30 @ 3:30 pm1250DKK
Yoga literally means connection. For centuries, yoga has been a practice that brought people together around the common purpose to know oneself and experience the deeper meaning of life.
Are you looking for more meaning in your practice beyond asanas? If yes, then maybe this course is for you.
This series of four, 2-hour weekly sessions, is an invitation to dive into and experience the ancient teachings of yoga beyond asana: at the mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.
Slowly building from week to week, we will explore several types of meditation practice, ancient philosophy and yoga wisdom, and self-study from a yogic perspective.
Within the safe space of a small (max 10 persons) group, we will create an inclusive room for deepening, reflection, discussion and learning on how to integrate yoga teachings into a practice and our daily lives.
What to Expect
Please Note that this is not a therapy group or a typical yoga or meditation workshop. Rather, this series is intended as an immersion into the more holistic world of yoga, beyond the purely physical aspect, and an opportunity to deepen your practice and get to know yourself better.
As a result of the series, and in-between sessions, you can expect new tools and techniques for your asana practice as well as a general increase in awareness and understanding of yourself, your own definition of spirituality, and the world at large. Possibility for “practice homework” for the participants who wish it.
Is this class for you?
This series is for you who are curious to know more about the science and wisdom of yoga, meditation, and personal development and are willing to contribute to a supportive group of like-minded yogis. A regular yoga practice for at least a few weeks (or other sorts of movement or mindfulness practice) is very helpful, but not necessary.
The most important pre-requisite is that you are interested in getting to know yourself better and expanding your perception and experience of the world.
This series is also well-suited for yoga teachers eager to deepen their practice or get inspiration to share more with their students.
Price: 1250 kr.
The number of participants is limited to 10.
Your guide -Cédric
I am passionate about the connection between the body, the heart and the mind, and I always teach yoga and meditation connecting these three together. Allying my physical body with my emotional, mental, and spiritual selves is something I work with every day, both with clients and students and on my own personal growth journey.
I have studied and practiced alignment-based and heart-centered yoga for over 12 years. Beyond yoga, meditation, and eastern philosophy, I have studied and practiced somatic and mindfulness-based psychotherapy along with anatomy, body therapy, and various healing modalities. My intention is to share the world of yoga as a path of inner transformation and the enhancement of our work in the world.
