Join us for a weekend of exquisite self-care for your body and soul.

You are invited to a special retreat in a unique and peaceful natural scenery, 1h15m drive from Copenhagen.

The intention is to support you in feeling refreshed and inspired using a mix of gentle and dynamic yoga, meditation, the spa and surrounding nature, as well as poetry that moves your heart and soul.

You will enjoy the outdoor spa (sauna and hot tub), nourishing organic food, and the nature hikes accessible directly from the venue. It is time for a treat and some well-deserved “you-time.”

Your facilitators, Pernille and Cédric, experienced yogis and retreat facilitators, are dedicated to create a safe, sacred space for well-being and healing. You can expect a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.

Cédric will be your yoga teacher. He will guide delicious yoga sessions with his signature-style of heart-infused themes and precision tools for empowering body awareness and alignment. Each class will make your body feel good and alive while helping your mind and heart feel nurtured and soothed.

Pernille will share poetry and teaching from her favorite poets as well as from her own upcoming collection to inspire us for our life, embodiment, and spiritual path. Pernille will also guide short meditation and writing sessions to help you connect to the soulful depth and wisdom of your own inner world.

No experience with neither meditation, yoga or writing required. All you need is an openness to be in your body and explore the depth of the inner realms. We look forward to sharing this special time with you.

 

The venue

“Kirsebærgården” is an old, traditional Danish farm, located on the Nakke peninsula, a protected nature reserve Northwest of Copenhagen. The retreat buildings were completely renovated a few years ago with all organic, high-quality material and decorated for a harmonious, minimalistic, and comfortable interior. The yoga room is beautiful and spacious, with high ceilings and big windows overlooking the surrounding nature. 

In addition to an outdoor sauna and hot tub, hiking trails are accessible directly from the retreat venue.

More about Cédric, PhD and E-500 CYT

In his yoga and meditation classes, Cédric’s intention is to help you find (or find again) a good and healthy posture, build strength and flexibility in your body, along with helping you slow down and soothe your nervous system in a deep way. His work with clients and students is informed by more than a decade of practice, teaching and studies in yoga techniques, alignment and anatomy, mindful movement, eastern philosophy, meditation, and body-based psychotherapy. Cédric has an earlier career as a social science researcher, which can be felt in his natural curiosity and his capacity to bring a larger perspective to every class and session he offers. More about Pernille, PhD

Pernille is a psychologist and yoga teacher specialized in somatic (body-oriented) psychology, embodiment, and body-based mindfulness. She is also a poet and nature lover, who has engaged in depth with the healing power of nature, plants, and flowers for a number of years. She is passionate about integrating a deep connection to the wisdom of the body, to nature, and creativity into everyday life, and inspiring others to live embodied, soulful, and heart-centered lives filled with depth and purpose.

Price, accommodation and food

The number of spots is limited to 14 participants. The types of room presented below are available on a limited, first-come, first-serve basis.

The retreat will start at 3pm on Sept 2nd and will end around 2pm on Sept 4th.

EARLY BIRD PRICES: sign up and pay before June 1st, 2022

Prices are person in shared or single rooms:

Three-person room (3 separate beds): DKK 3500

Two-person room (2 separate beds): DKK 4200

Single room : DKK 4900

After June 1st, all prices above are majored with DKK 200

 Please note the overall deadline for registration to the retreat is Aug 15, 2022.

 The prices above include:

  • accommodation for 2 nights
  • organic and high-quality vegan meals: dinner Friday and Saturday, breakfast Saturday and Sunday, lunch Saturday, plus afternoon snacks, tea and coffee.
  • 2-3 yoga sessions a day, guided meditations, reflections, and poetry reading
  • facilitation by 2 skilled and experienced teachers
  • intimate atmosphere with possibility for individual feedback
  • access to sauna and outdoor spa facilities

All rooms are provided with linens and towels. They are located up or down some stairs and all with shared bathrooms.

The meals are organic and mostly vegan. They will generally be dairy-free and contain from very-little to no gluten. Please inform Cédric of any food allergies or sensitivities when signing up!

Registration is binding and payment are non-refundable. Contact Cédric in case there is a wait list.

Transport – Logistics

If you come in your own car, plug in the address: Slettermosevej 15, Nakke, 4500 Nykøbing Sjælland.

Carpooling: If you have room in your car, please let Cédric know where you are driving from and how many seats you have available. If you need a ride, let Cédric know where from.

Train: The closest station is “Nykøbing Sj.” We can arrange pick-up at the station just before the retreat. Let Cédric know if you need to be collected at the train station.

What to pack?

Comfortable clothes, warm gears that can tolerate mud and wet weather for outdoor walks and rituals, swim suit and flip fops for sauna and hot tub, a pen and journal/notebook.

Please refrain from using perfume and other fragrance both in the practice room and in your shared bedroom to help those with sensitivity and allergies. Thank you very much!
