Into Stillness – Meditation Immersion
May 7 @ 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm400DKK
Sunday May 7th, 15.30-19.30 (3.30-7.30pm)
Reconnect to and deepen your meditation practice
Meditation is a practice, an invitation to draw the attention back within and to the present moment “again, again, and again.”
However, once in a while, the momentum for meditation slows down or stops completely. Obstacles to meditation were well-known by the ancient sages and, luckily for us, discussed in the yoga texts.
This afternoon workshop is a dive into the realm of yoga beyond asana practice. Although we will include some gentle asana to prepare our body for meditation, the primary focus will be to cultivate a state of inner stillness through various meditation techniques that you will be able to take home and either integrate into your established practice or use to refresh or start a regular one.
We will draw from a few ancient teachings from classical yoga, nondual tantra and more modern mindfulness to build up an experience of stillness we can cultivate, not only on the mat but also into our daily lives. There will be an opportunity to practice on your own and get your practice-related questions answered through a short Q&A session.
Experience with meditation is recommended but not strictly necessary. Most important is your willingness to turn inwards and open to your inner world and the gifts it might have for your spiritual growth and awakening journey.
This is an in-person workshop, but the sessions will be recorded. Each participant will get the audio recording and a written summary after the workshop. Live attendance on Zoom is possible (ask Cédric for details).
