Immerse yourself into stillness – new and experienced meditators welcome.

In the ancient eastern scriptures, “yoga” is described as the practice of calming the mind and the reconnection to what we ultimately consist of: pure presence.

Rather than a mental concept to be understood, yoga (aka meditation) as such is an experience to be felt. This workshop is an invitation for you to dive into the practice of meditation and experience its fascinating impact on the mind, body, and heart.

Using ancient techniques and more modern methods and knowledge, we will journey towards a state of inner stillness and an embodiment of what ancient sages have called “the Self” or “the Heart.” The intention is to provide you with an experience at both a physical and a more spiritual, or subtle, level.

Please come 15 min early to settle. We will start with a very short and gentle asana practice to prepare the body for sitting meditation. Bolsters, blocs, and blankets are available at the studio, but no chairs. Please bring a notebook and a pen and any other prob that might make your experience more comfortable.

Experience with meditation is a plus, but not strictly necessary. More important are your curiosity and willingness to turn inwards.

This is an in-person workshop/course. You will get the audio recordings of the guided meditations and a written summary of the theoretical and technical framework, so you can take the benefits of the workshop home with you, if you wish, to integrate them into an already existing home practice or establish one.
